CLC Collective is a partnership of three women of color scholars committed to publishing creative, relatable, and engaging sociology for all ages. Carolyn Choi, LaToya Council, and Chelsea Johnson met as graduate students through their doctoral program in sociology at the University of Southern California. They were drawn to each other by a shared desire to engage in scholarship, activism, and service that transcended the "Ivory Tower." In that spirit, they formed CLC Collective, a public sociology organization. IntersectionAllies: We Make Room for All is their first collaborative endeavor.
